10 Buildings That Changed Louisville: Bowman Field and Levy Building | Louisville Life | KET

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Last fall, KET and the Kentucky Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, asked the public to nominate Ten Buildings That Changed Louisville, which were then finalized by a panel of experts. Louisville Life has been spotlighting these ten in an ongoing series and we focus on two now. Bowman Field is the oldest continually operating commercial airfield in the US, with its Art Deco style terminal nearly tripling in size in 1937. The Levy building—constructed in 1893—is a Romanesque-style five-story structure, located at Third and Market Streets... which you most likely now know as the Old Spaghetti Factory. ---------------------------------- Learn more about KET's programs at http://www.ket.org/video/ Visit KET's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/KET Subscribe to the KET channel: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=ketvideos
