It houses a beautiful old european center diamond weighing 0.65cts and H color SI1 clarity. Minor abrasions are visible on the stone under a loupe but not to the naked eye; this is common due to the age of stone, considering it is almost a century old! The diamond is set in a high-crown setting, held by 6-prongs; the prong basket has intricately-detailed filigree work when looked in side profile, additionally featuring a bit of hand-carved design. One of our favorite elements on this ring is the etched design featured on the shoulders of the shank. It adds so much character to the overall appeal of this ring. The ring has been recently cleaned and lightly polished, but still features significant amount of art deco antiquity to it.
