  1. that outfit though!
  2. Little did this woman know.. the future held wars and despair, famine and darkness. haha just kidding.. fuckin hell, they talked weird in the 60's.
  3. I want that kitchen how much would it cost.
  4. This needs more views.
  5. no, love... in the future you'll have a gas cooker with pans and shopping malls for groceries.. enjoy!
  6. At least their version of future is brighter than ours.
  7. Fast food restaurant training video?
  8. It's interesting how they all imagined this idea of "plentiful" future, where you'd have a nuke cell powerplant that supplies power for 79845 ovens that substitute as refrigerators, but no cellphones or complex digital computers.

Some of the stuff actually exists now, yet in an incredibly more practical form.

Also, women competing at "being a better wife than mother". Sexism, ho!
  9. The thing they didn't really understand about the future was that instead of buying foods in raw form to be "processed" at home in those massive computerized kitchens was that food would be fully/partially processed and available at the grocery store. Today, you can buy a packet that includes a partially cooked roast, complete with vegetable to throw into the crock-pot for a few hours. And you can buy a salad in a bag complete with dressing and croutons. While some "kitchens of tomorrow" were a bit more practical, this one in particular looks massive and ridiculous.
  10. The craziest thing about this vid being from 1964 is that this lady may actually be DEAD now!!
  11. No. I will not visit you, kitchen lady. You're creepy.
  12. I'd put sperm in her mouth.
  13. Just liquify all food and insert tube into stomach. Who has time to chew?
  14. now everybody's too fat....tell that to your futuristic kitchen god
  15. well said PowerMagnum...
  16. Whaaaaat? Microwaves the size of a wall? That kitchen is bigger than my living room. And no explanation of how the freeze-dried foods were freeze-dried. NASA? Kroger? Why did people in the '60s think the future was going to be so doggone complex?
  17. Yeah, highly impractical.
  18. This is the American kitchen if we had continued making all of our own stuff
  19. Guess they didn't count on McDonalds.
