You may not get all of your calcium while sitting at this bus stop, but you’ll surely be entertained. #14 - The Bubble Popper The team up at the Playstation headquarters have just proved that they are well aware of what it takes to keep people entertained. Just look at this bus stop that they decked out in bubble wrap! There are few things more fun than popping all of the individual bubbles on the roll of wrap. We’ll probably never know why this is so much fun, it just is. #13 - A Miniature Library This mini library bus stop is an ingenious way to keep folks occupied while they wait for the bus. This is a perfect solution for those who travel without a phone, or with one that doesn’t have internet access. #12 - The Recycled Bus Stop This bus stop shows a fabulous example of a recycling project gone right. If you look closely, you can see that the green walls are actually composed of empty drink bottles. This is a much better place for them than in an ocean or a landfill. #11 - The Bathroom Bus Stop Pranksters in a Surrey village in the United Kingdom wanted a to create a form of public convenience, so they decided to make a bathroom bus stop, completely outfitted with a sink and a toilet. While residents don’t actually handle their business in this manner, most described the harmless prank as “hysterical.” #10 - The Whale Bus Stop This whale shaped bus stop is also found in Japan. Hopefully, this one is located next to a beach, at least that would make more sense, the design might even be cute if that’s where it was located. #9 - A Way To Make Others Hungry I get that advertising on a bus stop is a great way to reach a lot of people for a very low price, but I would be so angry with the designer of this one if I were even a little bit hungry as I walked up to this spot to wait for the bus. #8 - The Soccer Net In Brazil In honor of their favorite sport, soccer, an advertisement agency created this bus stop design that looks like a goal net, to encourage fellow Brazilians to get pumped up and excited for the game. #7 - The Wave Bus Stop This bus stop can be found on the beach of Ocean Shores, Washington. This beautiful piece of architecture uses the beauty of nature around it to influence the style of the bus stop, in this case, a wave was emulated. #6 - The Cheese Grater Bus Stop In Gordon Square in Cleveland, you can find a bus stop that looks like it belongs in a kitchen. It resembles a giant cheese grater, large enough for the whole restaurant to grate cheese on at the same time. You can never have too much cheese, right? #5 - The Bus Stop for Skateboarders If you love riding your skateboard, more than just a hobby, you might want to consider moving to Copenhagen, Denmark where they have bus stops that allow you to love your sport. Here at this bus stop, you can turn a few tricks before your bus comes and takes you away. #4 - The Bus Stop That Blends In In Scottsdale, Arizona you’ll have to look hard to find this bus stop, since it was built to mimic one of the more common objects found in its natural surroundings, the cactus. Thank goodness we know sitting at this bus stop won’t leave our behind full of cactus thorns. #3 - The Solar Powered, Wifi Ready Bus Stop These futuristic bus stops are already being installed in select areas of San Francisco. They are not only solar powered, but they use the solar energy that the panels gathered to help produce free Wifi for those waiting for the bus. This will greatly help those who cannot afford a cell phone service, but their phones still work on Wifi. #2 - The Strawberry Stop In a part of Isahaya City, there are fruit shaped bus stops that line the streets. Here you can see the strawberry hut on the corner of one street. #1 - The Literal Bus Stop On South East Avenue in Baltimore, Maryland, you can find the most literal bus stop in the world. Here you can see the 14-foot tall letters actually spell out the word “bus.” Pretty clever, sir, I see what you did there.
