We're here now in Novy Svet - a cool little neighborhood right behind the castle. Here we are at the Kafka Museum. This museum is dedicated to him and his work and you'll find some of his letters, diary entries and photographs inside. Stroll along the John Lennon Wall and you'll encounter portraits of Lennon and Yoko Ono. Have a look. Up next we have a big plate of Goulash. Saint Vitus is a Gothic cathedral located within the walls of Prague Castle. Inside you'll be able to admire beautiful stained glass windows designed in the art nouveau style. Inside the KGB Museum you'll find old propaganda as well as some unusual pieces like a copy of Lenin's death mask. The Golden Lane gets its name because legend has it that Emperor Rudolph was a fan of alchemy. Charles Bridge is one of the most popular landmarks in the city. When in Prague you can check out the Astronomical Clock. You can't come to Prague and not sample the street food. One particularly popular item is the Trdlenik. Petrin Tower stands 63 meters high on a hill overlooking Prague. It slightly resembles the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Vyšehrad is a historical fort located in the city of Prague. In my hand here I've got myself a Pilsner beer and this is like a Czech institution. The Jeleni Prikop Park located right behind Prague Castle is a great place for a picnic or a little nap on the grass. Even though the National Museum is currently closed you can still attend musical performances in the evening. Another cool thing you can do is visit the Miniature Museum where you can see microscopic art. The Mucha Museum pays homage to Alphonse Mucha, and it's a must visit if you enjoy art nouveau. 1. Awesom vid. Thanks and very glad to see this. I hope U enjoy beeing in Prague. For some tips before next visit, U can send a message. Just pls "trdelník" is not even czech sweet, this is a tourist trap.... Try "karlovarské oplatky"... For example... And the women actor, beutiful eyes.... Regards from Prague. By the way, Absinth, drinking by czech way... U need to put cube of sugar inside the glas, and then burn it and mix it with rest of a shot. Thats our way how to drink it, for example french guys drink this with some water...
  2. Beer is a very important part of Czech culture; in regard to socializing, discussing sports, politics, life. Never saw a Czech chug either.

  11. Czechia, official short name of the Czech Republic https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ez.html
  12. reality of the Golden lane's name is little bit less romantic: its named after piss
  13. i was born in Prague and have lived here for more than 18 years now and i've only done like a half of it? and some of those only because i had to... like basically every landmark :D personally don't like going sightseeing in my own town cos there's always so many tourists and you know after hearing the astronomical clock ringing for the 50th time in your life you're like "jesus it's just a clock, get a life" :D but i get it why tourists love prague so much. i think i'd enjoy it better as a tourist.
  14. Very interesting video, hope you enjoyed Czech! :-)
  15. If you end up going to the Strahov Monestary, I definitely recommend getting drinks (and food) at Klášterní pivovar Strahov (http://www.klasterni-pivovar.cz/o_nas). The beer and pork knee was fantastic.
  16. 35 things to do in Prague = 35 [třicet-pět] věci co dělat v Praze
  17. I lived there for almost two years and it´s realy amazing city! There is always something to do.
  18. Great place, sooo romantic ;-)
  19. Great video!
  20. I would skip the KGB and Communism museums. These are just some tourist attractions. Also trdlo is another tourist trap, overprized and without much history in the Czech cuisine. But the other picks are just excellent - Vysehrad, Petrin.
