Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Here is a glimpse at a home abandoned for atleast 10 years or more .Antiques and collectibles are all over the place . Very little modernity exists and very little is shown . Awesome old bathroom medicine cabinet a time capsule in its own

  1. Back when they knew how to build bathrooms. I love that sink, it's in amazingly good condition. I hope someone salvages it, it'd be a shane if it ended up in the landfill or even worse, destroyed by vandals. I remember those old metal bandaid containers from when I was a kid, I wish I'd saved a few, but how was I to know that the day would come when they were made of cardboard. I have one of those old glass eye washers, they're nice looking and functional.
  2. Thought the barbasol was hair cream at first, think they had a hair cream before brillcreme, a little dab will do you. Remember that ?
  3. Awesome Place!
  4. great video mate
  5. Wow, the Barbasol is from the 1950s or before. They switched to aerosol cans in the 1950s. So it's at least 60 years old, probable more. I don't think I have ever seen a bathroom quite like that. I can't even tell if it's original or some more modern retro design. But given the tube of Barbasol, I'm leaning to it being mostly original, from maybe the 1920s, or 30s..
  6. I love how there is an antique plastic disposable razor in the bathroom. Love to get me some of those...
  7. You find the coolest stuff. I use Barbasol shaving cream myself.
  8. Nice vid
  9. I like the design of that shower. You find the neatest places.
  10. oh wow.. loved that bathroom. Reminds me my grand mother's old house. those taps were unique. Wonder what 3 taps for. Hot/cold and warm? awesome find. thanks for sharing
  11. Yes the bathroom fixtures made my mouth water. I also looooove old advertising. Good grief
  12. Thumbs up! Looking forward to seeing more of this place. Loved the 30's Deco bathroom! That old mirror with the Deco strip lighting on the sides, would fetch quite a bit here. Actually the bathroom was in amazing condition...built to last.
  13. That place is fantastic! The bathroom sink looked like a face. That 1st picture you came across gave me the creeps for some reason, hope there's more!
  14. Another great video! Did you open that awesome steamer trunk and that leather handbag? There was an abandoned house I explored in the Delaware Water Gap near Buttermilk Falls. Over a period of time , these miserable vandals destroyed the place. I found a lot of good stuff in there including tools and an Electro Lux vacuum which looked good. I really bothers me when these morons destroy a piece of history.
