Agatha Christie's Poirot - New series with old series titles

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

How a new series episode of Agatha Christie's Poirot would look if the titles and end credits from the old series were still being used. *User apnoakes has pointed out that I should credit Christopher Gunning with composing the original Poirot theme tune.

  7. Lord,Lets hope it can be used for the final episode which is the adaptation of Curtain: Poirot's Last Case
  8. Not sure why they abandoned the old theme what with it being so iconic, but the old titles is pretty easy, the old title sequence was shot to 4:3 aspect ratio, ie for the old square screen CRT TVs that they had back then, nowadays everyone's got flat HD widescreen TVs with a 16:9 aspect ratio it's a shame they couldn't have redone the title sequence to fit a widescreen TV but there you go.
  9. money
  10. Brilliant. It's not the same without the old theme. Why on earth did they abandon it? One minor thing, you didn't credit the composer of the original theme tune Christopher Gunning.
