Filibusters are battling against the clock -- they are attempting to perform 30 plays, stories, moments in no more than 60 minutes. Because when the clock strikes 60 -- the show must end (even if the actor is mid-line). Inspired by the neo-futurist movement (...is a thing we keep saying to people), all 30 plays will be written and staged by an eclectic ensemble of budding writers/performers. The plays range from comedy to movement, musical to tragedy, biographical to performance art -- whatever is necessary to tell that story. Each night the audience will determine the order of the plays, making every show an unpredictable and completely unique experience. Expect a fast-paced, electric dynamic, delivered with enthusiasm and informality.
