Fans, Friends, Warriors, Audience Members:   At the top of the year, The Neo-Futurists were tasked with renaming our show and the playmaking practice we’ve fine-tuned over the course of decades. We began with a placeholder—These 30 Plays—that says what our show is. And starting Friday, we’ll keep moving under a new moniker—The Infinite Wrench—that says what our show does.   This week, Ensemble Members Ida Cuttler, Trevor Dawkins, Jeewon Kim, Tif Harrison and Nick Hart release six plays from the existing line-up and add six more for the inaugural performance of The Infinite Wrench. Those plays might take any form, but they will certainly be vital to right now. The constant work of taking away and re-tweaking, in favor of what is most current, is something The Neo-Futurists have done for(virtually)ever.  That work will continue in our attempt to reach, and ultimately surpass, the company’s world premiere count of 10,000 plays, written and performed by The Neo-Futurist ensemble.   We are pumped, and eager to keep making stuff.
