Clothing is our way of communicating in a society dominated by visual information; it helps us understand ourselves and each other. Be aware of the power of clothes and let them help you create the future that you want. Manou Messmann has a Master's degree in communication and psychology - a combination she uses to produce the latest consumer knowledge. Manou established her company Manou.dk in 2014, from where she brings state of the art consumer know-how to the fashion industry. Manou wants to reduce worldwide clothing waste, which is one of the big environmental problems today. To do that, she helps the fashion industry create a tight fit between what is produced and what is consumed. That is done by understanding the consumers' needs, so that fashion brands can produce relevant clothing that isn´t thrown out the day after it is bought. 2. It's a slightly different way of putting it, but this is not really new. No matter what job you have, dress for the job you want. It usually applies to the promotion you want or a rise to management. No matter what your peers are wearing, dress like the managers.
