Arsenal Stadium - Dreamspaces - BBC

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Paul Kaye - the actor and comedian behind Dennis Pennis - tells us why he gets such a kick from Highbury stadium. As a listed building, thanks to the 1930s art deco East Stand, he reckons it's the classiest football ground in the country. And as a fanatical Arsenal supporter, he's not going to let anyone disagree with him. 1. It's what the last song?
  2. Ironically the new Arsenal stadium is a 'shopping centre' and not a million miles away from how Chelsea stadium turned out - cash cow. Luxury over priced flats probably built on that land now. Shocking country.
  3. Correction: Highbury itself was built in 1913 but the east stand Art Deco bit that he's in was built in 1931
  4. This fella's a typical goon.
