Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Over 3500 hours were invested in this hand-formed Art Deco styled one-off late 30s early 40s street rod type COE cabover truck creation by the master craftsmen at Big Shed Customs in Blenheim, New Zealand. This 1 of 1 custom truck has been making its rounds in the USA American show circuit, most recently at the May 15, 2016 Cars for CASA charity car show event at The Harbor in Rockwall, Texas. Enjoy the HD video. Thanks for watching and subscribing to Samspace81 classic car YouTube channel. Be sure to check out Big Shed Customs on their website link below. I want to give a special thanks to Chris Stead for taking time to answer a few questions and his brother, Mark Stead along with Tony Hodgson for sharing their incredible work with us on the American show circuit. This truck really needs to be featured at the SEMA show ! They have logged over 5,000 miles thus far here in the USA in this special RHD truck since November. Power is from a fuel-injected Ford 5.0 liter High Output HO V8 behind an overdrive automatic transmission. The interior is completely hand formed with ZERO fiberglass, all 20 gauge steel. See the details on their website in their photo documented restoration. Also be sure to check out Cars for CASA, a wonderful charity for the welfare of abused and neglected children - Court Appointed Special Advocates in Texas look out for these children's best interests.
