Today a court ruled that the demolition of three art deco houses in Auckland's St Heliers can go ahead. A group of residents had tried desperately to stop the developer from knocking down the Spanish mission-style houses, claiming that they were an important part of Auckland's heritage. Dorothy McHattie was one of those who campaigned to save the buildings, she talks to Close Up about today's decision
