The Egyptian-Greek-Roman inspired architecture returned to Greece, through the renaissance some 2000 years later. Egypt and its influence is often left out of history books, however without there knowledge and input, the ancient world, beautiful or decadent, would not have developed the way it did. (sorry, I spelt challenge as challange, and wrote there's instead of theirs).
