Oklahoma City’s Bicentennial Park, called by city leaders “the coolest space in Oklahoma City,” was recently honored by the Oklahoma chapter of the American Planning Association for being a Great Public Space. A formerly cluttered and mostly unusable space was opened up and now is a point of inspiration for citizens that takes the area between two landmark Art Deco buildings, the OKC City Hall and the Civic Center Music Hall and provides a place for events, families, conversation, and community. The City is celebrating the park’s 75th anniversary, and has never looked better. More at: http://www.e-a-a.com/ http://www.planningdesigngroup.com/
