Mr Fuller 'why not? the only reason houses have been rectangular all these years is, that is all to do with the materials we have.' Man who asked the question smokes a pipe behind Mr Fuller's head. Mr Fuller 'now with modern materials and technology we can apply to houses the same efficiency of engineering that we apply to suspension bridges and airplanes.' 00:52:52:04 INT, DAY, exhibition hall, CU Buckminster Fuller twists the central part of the roof on model and lifts it off, '...then later, on top can induce a complete air change every six minutes.' Mr Fuller 'here is the living room, its window is forty feet long, these are the two bedrooms, each with its own bath and the kitchen complete with refrigerator, the whole thing is as modern as a streamline plane, the whole thing is hung from a stainless steel mast, weighs only 4 tons in comparison to 150 tons for the ordinary house of equal size, yet it is enormously strong, can withstand winds up to hurricane force and beyond, up to 180 miles per hour.'
