The futuristic pavilion designed by Prizker Prize-winning architect Zaha Hadid presents changing installations of works by contemporary artists from all over the world. Among the participating artists are Tabaimo, Nobuyoshi Araki, Loris Cecchini, Michael Lin, Yoko Ono, Y.Z. Kami, Daniel Buren, Leandro Erlich (VTVs coverage of his work at P.S.1 here), Blue Noses, Sylvie Fleury, Subodh Gupta, Lee Bul, Fabrice Hyber, Yang Fudong. Mobile Art was commissioned by Chanel and conceived by the companys designer Karl Lagerfeld. It was originally imagined as a means to mark the first appearance fifty years ago of the iconic CHANEL 2.55 quilted stitched-leather handbag. Chanel Mobile Art Pavilion by Zaha Hadid.
