Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Ken Greenberg is an internationally-renowned architect, writer, and urban designer known for his award-winning projects, such as the Harbourfront Master Plan in Toronto, and Brooklyn Bridge Park on the East River in New York as well as his book Walking Home: The Life and Lessons of a City Builder (2011). Greenberg commenced the 22nd Annual Congress for the New Urbanism at the Wednesday Opening Plenary. He talks about the common challenges faced by cities on both sides of the Canadian/US border as 21st century cities worldwide transform themselves based on more dynamic city building models that stress mix, overlap, shared space and flexibility and integrating 'concepts' at the intersection of economy, community, and environment.
