Comments

  1. Decadence in the US
  2. Breakthrough in water distillation (slingshot), Bionic contact lenses, Nanowire batteries, Fracking breakthrough (along with horizontal drilling). Social networking (Friendster to Facebook and everything in between). So even with a skew against DoD, our largest innovator, there is plenty of activity going on. As of 2011, America accounted for 26.7% of patent activity according to the WIPO. Japan was second at 21.4%, Germany third at 10.2%, and China fourth at 9.0%.
  3. "internet and computer equipment are not recent" sure the invention might not be, but the modernizations and yearly inovations they make come from america.
  4. The doctor rather blew his credibility when he claimed the 3 legislators were the best and brightest on this subject in all of congress. I fear that legislators even 10 years from now will sound even more unconnected and aloof about what is really going on in both America and the world.
  5. These people are lost in their own arrogance. They don't talk about issues facing young people, the changing perceptions of Americans and how they will affect "American Power" in the 21st Century. American Power is not necessarily found within its government, but in its people. These people seem to assume that everyone in the rest of the world likes America. They're rather clueless, in both their perceptions of the United States, and in their perceptions of the world's view of the U.S.
  6. when there is no congress there is no law so the law becomes a man called dictator
  7. Please name 5 innovations of the USA that happened in the last ten years. (Military equipment not allowed...P.S.internet and computer equipment are not recent.)
  8. this is not good at all....congress is useless
  9. I think it will decline, in parallel to the level of the debate i have seen here. The debt, excessive government spending, the wars and most importantly, i think the american society has not fully joined the 21st century.
  10. If you wanted a Balanced Debate You should have had people OTHER THEN AMERICANS On the Panel Have the G8 Counters Up there To see where America Stands
  11. I am an america live in america but have travel to europe and the middle east alot. We need new leadership these people are out to lunch. The only thing giving america its power is the military. everything else we are being passed up buy emerging economies. I pay 12k per year for my son to get a good education. the public schools are failing kids.
