He was a genius and far ahead of his time. I am doing a paper on him in Art History. I love the staircase in the Horta Museum. His curving structures and lacy ironwork designs are so inspiring.
Marvelous - been a fan ever since I first saw pictures of the hotel interior - ah, those slender columns...
BTW: do you know if there are any visual material on the interior of 'la Maison du Peuple' available on the web?

N'oubliez pas Guimard !!! Guimard, Gaudi, and Horta... All three are amazing.
C'est incroyable de voir comme même les objets en métal er en vers, si dur et si froid, puissent attraper une vie kazi végétale...
Victor Horta...un nom inoubliable pour les amateurs d'art nouveau, un art inimitable et bien bruxellois.
Je ne suis jamais allé visité la maison horta, mais aimerai y aller un de ces jours...
