DestinAsian - Grand Hyatt Hong Kong

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

Located on the city's famed harbour front, Grand Hyatt Hong Kong combines modern architecture with 1930s interiors and Art Deco accents. The flagship property of Hyatt International (it opened in 1989), the hotel's 549 guest rooms and suites, most of which offer views over the harbor, start at 38 square meters and all feature floor-to-ceiling windows, marble tubs, and personal workstations. White-linen restaurant One Harbour Road serves traditional Cantonese cuisine in a refined setting, designed in light natural stone and rosewood timber to look like a Taipan's house, while the Plateau spa on the 11th story is a welcome antidote to the pace of life in the city. The hotel's Grand Club area offers four floors of executive accommodation and three floors comprising suites at the top of the hotel, while a team of personal butlers can provide dedicated business and travel support.
