Having marked the one year anniversary in May 2010 of the establishment of the Eastern Partnership, it is an opportune moment to assess its early achievements and continuing challenges, as well as to determine whether an overarching transatlantic strategy can be developed for enhanced cooperation in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. This inaugural seminar will examine concrete U.S. - EU partnership opportunities with a specific emphasis on deepening the reform agenda in Moldova. The Honorable Mikolaj Dowgielewicz, Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland, will provide the keynote address.
