Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

The need to produce fish in Africa increases with every fish taken out of our natural resources and with every child born. For 70 years when fish farming first occurred in Africa, little has changed, a large number of our countries are facing a major decline in accessibility to fish as a major source of protein. David Fincham is a passionate out of the box thinking Fish Farmer. Fish Farmer, Farm Design, Technology Developer and mentor. He developed FarmInaBox Tilapia Farming System in order to revolutionize fish farming in Africa. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at http://ted.com/tedx

  1. I had the honor of meeting David last year and learn a lot about food from his fish farm... Definitely an idea worth sharing : There's more than enough food on the table for all of us, we just need to remember the basics that food grows in our backyards not the supermarket
