The City of Arts and Sciences (CAC), Futuristic Science City in the initial project is a complex architectural, cultural and entertainment in the city of Valencia in Spain. It is also the name of a neighborhood in Valencia and is part of District Four Races. The CAC is, nowadays, the biggest tourist attraction in Valencia City, ahead of other attractions, including its historic center. The increase in tourists has been quite remarkable since they were finishing work. Dubbed Queen Sofia, is the most remarkable building in volume and architectural structure. Inaugurated in the National Day of Spanish Valencia from 2005, and will be used mainly for large music events, opera, dance, and theater. After a flood in 1957, the bed of the river Turia was diverted through Valencia. Since the 1980s, the portion of downtown was transformed into gardens and walking areas for city dwellers. The mouth of this old bed offers contemporary site construction of the Futuristic Science City. The complex covers an area of 350,000 m 2.
