If ever, with one human having one positive genetic change (such as efficient metabolism), everyone should have it too, only genetic diseases should be treated individually, and if you ever give the humans super hot good looks, just increase the manifestation from their own DNA, so we don't have a hundred of kens or barbies, but still a diverse good-looking, and healty population.
