  2. love ya work and videos from australia !
  3. Great video's Chris , always so informative
  4. Would you recommend using something like Krylon's Indoor/Outdoor Lacquer that Sherwin Williams sells?
  5. Looks great. Would have liked to seen entire project completed but I know it came out great. Going to paint a few aluminum Windows we have- luckily I found your video. Why krylon paint and rustoleum primer instead of sw products? Krylon looks like it has a primer available, too?
  6. HI! I have a metal framed window in my bathroom - my contractor painted it white but when I open and close the window the paint scrapes off - any ideas on how to get the paint to stay on?
  7. I've already done both!

  10. Great videos, thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge, Cheers Tony from Australia
  11. Is that an etch primer?
  12. great video.. i have painted aluminum windows that are an ugly forest green ..been quoted an arm & a leg for new ones! Is it possible to just coat over the top or strip back the paint to coat in a different color. or could i scuff up the surface & paint over. if you could point me in the right direction ..would be much appreciated.
  13. Hi Chris,
Thank you for the video.  I am purchasing a newly built home and don't care for the white aluminum/metal window panes that stand out against the earth-tones of the exterior.  If I were to have a contractor change the pane color would it be the same process you showed above or would the white paint first have to be removed from the aluminum/metal pane? Or even worse, do the panes have to be replaced?
  14. G'Day Chris great vid thanks for the demonstration!
I see you use a spray can for this residential demo and a spray run for a commercial demo. Which would you recommend in a residential DIY setting?

Also, was there any particular type of primer and paint that's best suited to aluminium anodised? Sorry if you've answered this already (Might be good in the description) given 5 stars on facebook.
  15. Or, you could have spent a fraction of the time and less material by simply popping off the aluminum glazing bead and painting them on a drop sheet. Which comprised about 95% of what you'd painted there. Then there's the question of why someone would bother to paint those old hollow-frame windows (from the 50s-60s). Worst window design ever conceived by man... except perhaps if installed in San Diego or Phoenix.
  16. You're the finest painter Idaho.
  17. i live in flordia and have those old 70s segmented windows. I want to do the inside would you recommend the same process
  18. Hi there i want to ask, when spray painting  how do you avoid the paint from  dripping on the surface. I mean is the distance from the surface that make  a difference when spraying  or what? I had like drops formed on my window frames. Thank you
  19. How long do you think that paint will last before fading, peeling or chipping being exposed to elements esp in south Fla? Debating between this and a DTM product. Thoughts?
  20. I feel that the comments here are far too topical for you tube, So as an Australian, I would just like to say I support americian gun law reforms.
