16. I actually wasn't surprised when he joked that they told him it was the best paper they had ever read. Once I was given at least a month to write a paper but on the day it was due I walked in and realized that I hadn't written a word. What did I do? I told the teacher my "printer was down" and, "Could I email it to you after school?" So I go home, bang out a ton of words on the keyboard, send it to the teacher, and heave a sigh of relief. The next day I walk into class and I am told that it was one of  the best papers the teacher had ever read, so part of me is like, "Yes! Yes! Yes! I got away with it!" and the other part of me is mad at myself because I knew that the next time I had a big assignment due the crazy procrastination monkey was going to remind me of that situation and I would find myself watching TED Talks about procrastination on YouTube instead of doing my work.
