@Edisonfans19 I think the music of the 20's tended to be trivialized and dismissed in the decades close to the 20's, even into the 70's, even by the people who remembered it and played it--it was too silly or frivolous. Now from an 80-90 year remove, it has survived the test of time and younger generations are realizing what a unique treasure it is, and they will perpetuate it for the next 50+ years, especially with all the ways we have of preserving it forever.
