JetBlue's New Terminal: Architecture as Marketing

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

NEW YORK (YouTube.com/AdAge) -- In a celebration that was as much about architecture as it was about marketing, JetBlue cut the ribbon on Monday at its new, $740 million dollar, 72-acre terminal at New York's JFK Airport. Branded "JetBlue T5," it's the first new terminal built in the U.S. since 9/11. In erecting their futuristic, 26-gate hub alongside TWA's landmark Saarinen terminal, JetBlue is hoping to inject some glamour back into flying.

  2. Ok I am not aiming to get anyone mad here But two things They could of done 1. Put more Natural light by putting more glass in (Like Terminal 4) 2. Make sure its not going to look like the current DL Terminal in 20 years time But I still like it
  3. @agent1180 same thing, it was the TV's that got me into jetBlue

  5. I'm a total Jetblue snob. Will only fly with a different airline if forced.
