  1. This is a beautiful depiction of the events and the feeling it conveys is profound. The music and how it fits perfectly with the sketches, the sad story that was glorified as a historic moment, the fate of the creature that couldn't speak for itself and had to get sacrificed because there was a futile competition going around between the great powers. Poor little laika. So much for being the first.

  3. The song is so beautiful and sad!
Poor Laika, I cry every time I think about her alone in the space, without understanding what was happening around her. It's really heartbreaking.

  8. Gosh I just read this beautiful novel last night for the first time and I cried all night, literally. I knew the story of Laika, but this art was so precious and touching, that made you enter in the sensitive view. At last, she had love and suffered only a short time, instead and entire life in the streets. And she will always be remembered...just as sweet Laika.
