explanation of lol and hastyness... because the use of mass concrete is so essential to his architecture. If anyone is hasty, it is you, not me. You should study his works and thoughts more before bothering other people with your personal opinions. If you have a delicate personality and want to avoid lol and stuff like that, otherwise I think you should just grow some thicker skin...

lol... sorry, but then you understand nothing about him as an architect. I think the reason you find it depressing, might be because you (un)consciously associate it with more recent and very badly executed mass concrete constructs? Or perhaps because Le Corbusiers buildings are not wellkept? Concrete is a magical material. It just needs good skills and a creative mind to put it to use. Otherwise it will be - as you put it - really depressing.
