Every year in mid January the area around Ocean Drive on South Beach, Miami comes alive for one weekend with the sights and sounds of the Art Deco period. A celebration of art, architecture, film, fashion and furniture that was inspired by or created during the Art Deco era commences this Friday in Miami Beach. Its a great event to attend a with so many things going on, parades bands and old vehicles a tented village of stalls line Ocean Drive selling a whole range of items influenced by the period. If you love Art Deco you just have to go and the perfect backdrop to the whole event are of course the stunning Art Deco hotels that line the drive and surrounding area.
