My dad and I planned to go to North Manchester for the day on December 1, 2013... but the history museum wasn't open. Instead, I decided that since we were in northern Wabash County, there were some traces of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad left that I wanted to see. Primarily, they were the gantry tower west of Laketon, IN, and the double overpass near Disko, IN. Along with some of these, I also got to see some new remnants left behind by the railroad I hadn't expected to. Our last stop was in Peru, IN, where we saw the art deco high school, and old buildings in the old railyard where the roundhouse once was. 1. These are nice, these infrastructures remind me of when I went to visit Michigan and Illinois. Then again it's the midwest, I'd like to visit Indiana one of these days
