My dad and I planned to go to North Manchester for the day on December 1, 2013... but the history museum wasn't open. Instead, I decided that since we were in northern Wabash County, there were some traces of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad left that I wanted to see. Primarily, they were the gantry tower west of Laketon, IN, and the double overpass near Disko, IN. Along with some of these, I also got to see some new remnants left behind by the railroad I hadn't expected to. Our last stop was in Peru, IN, where we saw the art deco high school, and old buildings in the old railyard where the roundhouse once was.
