Original Futuristic Design: Fusion Byzantine and Ottoman Architecture

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

My original futuristic design of 'Fusion Byzantine and Ottoman Architecture', the typology of this modern superstructure is influenced in part by late Eastern Byzantine themes, latter Western Romanesque architecture of the high middle ages and interesting Ottoman modifications. I'm a great admirer of the Late Byzantine structures of the Eastern Roman Empire (circa 6th century AD), the architecture and archaeological typology has a timeless futuristic (almost Alien) quality with all the organic domes/curves and geometric motifs, whilst retaining a rustic ancient feel (stone masonry, vaulted entablature, gilded metals etc). The aesthetic dichotomy between rustic ancient realism/futuristic innovative technology is apt here, the interplay between Ancient Byzantine typology/ futuristic machine-age elements is an as of yet undiscovered treasure in Sci-fi & Xenoarchaeology i feel. This animation portrays both rendered and wireframe views to show plan effectively, inspired by the historical works and typology of great Byzantine visionaries Isidore of Miletus and Anthemius of Tralles, also of great Turkish architect Sinan (circa 16th-17th centuries). Entire architectural design and animation created by Christopher Antoniou ©. - Please SUBSCRIBE to my YOUTUBE channel for all new material - “ARCHAEO RECONSTRUCTIONS”: I CREATE QUALITY FULL HD ANIMATIONS AND DESIGNS BOTH ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND GENERAL, AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST FOR ANYONE INCLUDING PRODUCERS AND EDUCATORS.
