The ambition for this project of "the hotel room of the future" is to construct a prototype for a hotel room and bathroom such that they reflect the coming horizons for the futur of 2020; that is, by integrating industry standards for sustainable development and innovative technology. The goal is to show professionals at the trade show that all the elements involved in the composition of a room can adhere to an integrated approach involving sustainable development, as much in the choice of materials as in the functionality and treatment of spaces. The “ORIGINE” room will return to the fundamentals of a hotel room and reinvent the codes of the hotel industry by combining sustainable development, well-being, and innovation. This room, initially conceived by DELPORTE Hospitality, has been designed by AW², an international architecture and interior design agency led by architect partners Réda Amadou and Stéphanie Ledoux. There is, for instance, the presence of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) that makes the work of employees in managing a room much easier. Everything that can be done to reduce the burden of work associated with cleaning a room matters.
