  1. what strikes me as obscene is how we in the usa buy into political rhetoric, the conservative aspect being the obscene part of it. there is a brilliant book written by Robert O. Self called, "all in the family, the realignment of democracy" it thoroughly explains how the conservative right has hijacked the rhetorical notion of family and has used it as a great way to diminish the real world needs of the citizens of this country. housing not being a big factor in the book, but one can see!
  2. lol
  3. ????
  4. Their plan to fund housing is to rob people's life savings and stick it into a still deflating burst housing bubble?
  5. huh?
  6. true! but probably not in the traditional ways of gradually putting pressure on the government through the official paths and voting... the system is so self-ingrained... I guess each of us who is willing to see change must begin to manifest it and, indeed, not "sit on your ass and do nothing about it." Peace!
  7. Lol so in short they're trying to copy the US housing boom model when their citizens don't have enough money to pay for their current housing? Lemme guess, next idea: sub prime loans for the poor? Sorry UK but your GDP is shrinking cuz you're a welfare state and you made it more profitable for people to live off welfare than work
  8. 10 yrs? the british pound is about to crash
  9. power always corrupts and absolute power.......
  10. Having a conversation about sustainability in housing, and not mentioning Earthships is a huge mistake. They are they starting point for discussing sustainable homes. Do yourselves a favor and google it.
  11. I'm not a republican. But clearly I think your an idiot an you think I'm an idiot and I imagine one of us must be right. and you know what they say there is no sense arguing with idiots
  12. I've talked to SO many of your right-wing nutjobs who think the UN is some Illuminati outpost. The second I hear about the evils of Agenda 21, I immediately know the entire backstory. Perhaps you aren't familiar with the whole thing. Ironically, most adherents aren't. It does eventually start discussing the alien reptilian race who lives among us, taking over our power structures. You aren't too far off with the Romulans. If you were just joking about Agenda 21, then no harm no foul.
  13. If you believe that the UN is a force of good in this world then I don't want to argue with you anymore but I suggest you google Confessions of an Economic Hitman. And I don't know where you brought Satan into this. Is he real? Did he play guitar for Black Sabbath? Oh and if you think Agenda 21 is bad you should check out Star Fleet's Prime Directive. There are some serious implications there for the Romulan Empire
  14. We don't like that nations lend to one another and poor nations now? Huh. OK. The UN tends to be a bit idealistic and often doesn't have a clear enough grasp of details on the local level ... but they aren't the evil Bilderberg, Illunimati, Rothschild, global elite who are part of a the Satanic cult who make pedo snuff porn so they can drink baby blood ... or at least, most of their members aren't. Again, let's focus: UK, Housing, Sustainability. That was SUSTAINABILITY, not SATANISM.
  15. I'm glad to see you have put so much faith in the UN and the intentions of its corporate members. AS far as power goes well The World Bank, The IMF, The WTO, The WHO are all just nice UN organizations that don't have a stranglehold over our global economy. Oh and Alex Jones is my lord and savior. I pray to him every night
  16. ya marginally good point but if you just sit on your ass and not do anything about it then things are definitely not going to change. what you call "nice conversations" i call fuel for the people with the conviction, will, capacity and tenacity to fight and make change .if enough people fought we would certainly win, and i personally refuse to lie down and go gently into that good night of euphoric consumption led self destruction.
  17. Having actually read Agenda 21, not simply listened to Alex Jones rant about it, I have concluded that the UN (which has How Much authority again?) wanted to create ideas which met the needs of growing world population demanding more resources and technology. This particular video has nothing to do with Agenda 21. This has to do with getting housing in the UK to match consumer demand/need and within consumer prices.
  18. well yes they would. Thats why it is best to get off the grid and back to nature and not accept self contained sustainable eco-cities of the future.
  19. Agenda 21 has nothing to do with bridges and roads. Its about the loss of private property, control of resources, and human freedom. I think communism would work great for a very small tribal community where everyone had a stake in helping each other.
  20. wouldn't the government want you to be more reliant ??
