For more information visit: http://www.q-railing.com/ Located on Great Ocean Road in Fairheaven, Australia, the original Pole House was completed in 1978. A major renovation lead by F2 Architecture was started in 2013, and this unique project brought an iconic landmark into the 21st Century. The house sits atop a concrete platform supported by a 13m high pylon built into the steep hillside. This stunning property is accessible only by a narrow and unique concrete bridge, which has now been fitted with Easy Glass® Slim with an anodised aluminium channel to avoid a fast corrosion process. This sophisticated frameless glass balustrade from Q-railing, which was fitted with 12mm glass and finished with a mirror polished cap rail that sits directly on top of the glass, allows a spectacular 180 degree view of the Southern Ocean. In addition, the Easy Glass® Slim Fascia mount system, which has a light to medium loading capacity and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, was installed on the Pole House's balcony. The result: The perfect balcony with a seamless view, referencing only the vastness of the ocean. With Easy Glass® Slim glass balustrades the experience of freedom and nature at Pole House has become even much more attractive and secure.
