There's an upside to it though, time passes and what he said years and decades ago continues to be correct, which makes him a great futurist! But is there nothing new?

7. what kind of smart phone is he talking about ? because mine needs a good signal. also if u can't pay for a plan how can u get a signal. are there lots of cell towers in Africa. i no a lot of people that can't pay for internet here in the USA because they are to poor. the cheapest home internet in my town is 49.99 thats not cell phone internet but still. i think its much harder then he makes it out to be to have internet.

12. Just think in 2045 if everybody could live forever. Think about that. There would never be enough food in the world to feed everybody. Air pollution would just start stacking up on top of air pollution. Theories are just theories. God has a plan. You have your time on earth to stand in the sun, when it's done it's done!

14. Some of what he says comes from some sort of baseless arrogance. Describing the people who made facebook/google/etc as guys who didn't know what they were doing and just got lucky really is painting him salty and clueless about it.

I love watching videos like this and soaking in all this information, and before I go any further I just want to say I was a school drop-out so feel free to tell me if I'm wrong, but I believe that our exponential growth and advancements in all the realms of science and the such will cap off eventually, I believe that our ability to advance in everything has only occured due to the advancements in our ability to communicate the way we do, once we stop progressing in the field of communication, I think we might just stop progressing and growing so exponentialy
