Rebbie Moving Building Chicago, Egyptian Revival, National Historic Register Listed Located on north Clark Street not too far from the Biograph theater is this eye catching art deco, Egyptian revival The Rebbie Moving & Storage building. These were two brothers whose slogan was "If old King Tut were alive today, he'd store his things the Reebie way." Built in 1922 the design was influenced by the discovery of King Tuts tomb that same year. Architect George Kingsley designed the warehouse and sculptor Fritz Albert did the exterior terra cotta work. Produced for ChiTownView by MindsiMedia.
