In this episode of Renovate Louisville, host Bob Keesaer looks at the history and significance of Mid-Century Modern architecture of the 1950's and '60's. The Director's Cut includes footage and interviews not included in the broadcast version due to time constraints.

  1. When I moved to Louisville 12 years ago, the 800 Building was instantly one of my favorites. It remains so. Loved that the Cadillac sign and brick was recognized. I never go down 4th St. without admiring that pairing.
  2. Excellent program with some very reputable (and knowledgeable) experts! Most unfortunate that you didn't include Louisville's newest landmark...the mid-century modern Hogan's Fountain "TeePee" Pavilion in Cherokee Park.
