Sacred Spaces 6 -- Sun Theater, Yarraville, featuring Lindsay Douglas In 2014, Lindsay Douglas of Dig Design spoke about the Sun Theatre in Yarraville, one of his favourite buildings in Melbourne for the complete architecture and cinema experience. Originally opened in 1938 as a single-screen cinema, the Sun Theatre underwent several changes and today provides seating for 660 people in six boutique cinemas, all detailed in art deco style.
