SCIENCE FICTION MEETS ARCHITECTURE: LONDON 2080 May 25, 2016 Atkinson Hall, UC San Diego The Arthur C. Clarke Center for Human Imagination (UC San Diego) and the Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London) present a transatlantic lecture on designing for the future of London, featuring Vernon Vinge (science fiction author) and Marjan Colletti (architect) proposing visions of robot-filled, AI-driven megamalls of 2080. Vernor Vinge has won five Hugo Awards, including one for each of his last three novels. Marjan Colletti is an architect, educator, researcher, and author. Info: imagination.ucsd.edu.
