  1. All these assholes peddling foreign cars oughtta be ashamed of themselves, nothin honorable about makin some Japanese dickheads wealthier than they already are...smmfh
  2. I learned in the 70's while selling Insurance that the best Salesmen are the most honest.  Now with the Internet to look-up car values a Car Salesman (or Insurance Salesman) cannot overcharge you unless he is quite crooked AND you didn't look-up the fair market price.  The BEST salesman is the one that is honest and puts you in the right car for YOU.  Crooks don't make it any more.
  3. Henry Ford shifted gears? nope. he used band box transmissons, made by Dodge Bros.
  4. Fiat a "No-Haggle" price plan? How long did that last, maybe 6 months?
  5. Today, car salesmen are useless. People know what they want before they enter the lot.
What happened to the days of going to the lot, checking off boxes of the options you want, paying for the thing and picking it up a week later?
Today, every car has "standard options" up the asshole. If it's standard equipment, it's not an option, you're supposed to choose which options you want. What if I don't want to pay for the things the car comes with? I want a manual transmission, roll-up windows, no AC, no cruise, no Sat Nav, no 27 way power adjustable mirrors, no dual climate control with scented air, and I don't need a massaging driver's seat. But if I want car x, I all of these come "standard". How much would the car cost if the factory didn't make me pay for something they force me to buy? Half as much?
  6. I love this documentary
  7. M1A1 Tank guaranteed that loan. That was the only car stock worth a damn in American history after 1960. Fact. (Stock options worth more than a dollar) This show is so biased against Japanese cars. But fun to see the biased. FIAT? Fix It Again Tony.....I like the new cars. The best car is the paid off car...
  8. B.S. imo
  9. Click bait garbage.
  10. I am a car salesman who has made a pretty good living by treating people fairly and honestly. There are very few crooks left in this business, but they sure have given the rest of us a bad name. I have made it a point to do things the opposite way so that I stand out and become a person that people want to buy a car from. When I consult with a client, I do a lot more listening than taking. I have found if I listen to them, they will tell me how to let them buy (as opposed to sell) a car.
  11. car salespeople are good people. Bullshitters no longer make it in our business cuz customers can see right through them. You guys who comment about how we are such liars are just ignorant. if you are sore cuz you paid too much for a car then you deserve what you got. lmao
  12. This documentary is B.S.
  13. The better the "deal" you think you got on your new car the better liar the salesman was...
  14. If Valentine is not Jamaican .......
  15. it's also positive propaganda for the car dealers
  16.   I make styling-projects for fashion cars.
  17. The Land Rover sales person is a jack
  18. Dealers and salesmen in the New York area are nasty and act like they don't want your business
  19. Since I don't drive cars newer than 1973, I don't have to deal with car dealers and scams...
  20. anyone who ever bought a car from these swindlers deserves to lose.
