Teo Yee Chin Yee Chin runs his own architectural practice in Singapore, Red Bean Architects. He was a visiting critic at the School of Architecture in the National University of Singapore from 2009 to 2012. He blogs regularly on the complex relationship between architecture, society and the city. Yee Chin obtained his Masters of Architecture from Harvard University, Graduate School of Design, where he completed his thesis on contested public spaces in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. He has researched and published numerous critical essays on architecture and urban development in Singapore. Yee Chin is particularly interested in interrogating the discrepancies between social and physical planning in Singapore.
