12. Great points about short term vs. long term: this is the argument I believe many entrepreneurs struggle with. Short term can provide more profit, but long term can provide for more stability. It's a balancing act when limited resources are involved.

17. I've been listening to you since my sister recommended your podcasts to me and just subscribed to your channel. I want to start my own business and have a ton of ideas. I'm focusing on my creative passion (as a UX/UI designer & video game/digital artist) and putting together some work samples and business models. I always freelance and push myself to learn and grow my skills in value and design work on top of my full-time job but cannot wait to get my business going.
    
    Thank you so much for the inspiration, Gary. We have very similar personality traits (I'm from Toledo, OH and have the same 'stubborn' drive to get shit done and not dick around). Gary....I was there with you in Birmingham.  I was the grey haired 80 year old on the 3rd row soaking up your genius stuff.  I started a scratch financial services distribution business 39 years ago when I was 41 and learned how to attract bright, driven, exciting people to a stodgy old profession.  Now at 80. I am excited about learning how I can use the internet "social media" to build another generation of successful entrepreneurs who will take it on for another multimillion dollar ride.  You are a true inspiration for those  of us who came up on all the old fashion stuff you share today.  Thanks for cranking it up for us in Birmingham.  It is great market with unlimited potential.    Edmond H.
