A collection of postcards from the Brezhnev Era. After a period of relative prosperity due to various decentralization-reforms througout the late 60s, the Soviet economy starts to stagnate from the early to mid 1970s onwards. Housing shortages in the Ussr's urbanized centers lead to an enourmous influx in 'serialized' flat-building. Combined with a love for everything 'cosmic' triggered by the early Soviet successes in space-exploration, the 1970s gave Russia a distinctively 'modern' look.
