2. Modernism - open spaces and pure lines, less decoration. It's ok, mix traditional with modernism and nice buildings will come out. I am tired of this glass buildings without identity
3. That's a  really nice try!!! But still its modernist view is quite obvious. It is closer to the empire architecture in Napoleo years. Certainly billion times better than this modern industrial crap. IMO architecture and aesthitics in general is really related to the culture and beliefs of a people, if you look at the houses, the temples and statues in antiquity they do not seem to ''interfere'' nature, instead they seem to fulfill it and fit awesomely like it's part of it.  That's because our ancestors as ''pagans'' considered the divine(beautiful) part of nature and tried to reach ''the creator's mind''(that's why all art is actually always related to mythology and religion). Even in Medieval age Christians(although anti-pagan) still could comprehend the  beauty of nature in Feudal times since there were no industries or awnings to close themselves in, that's why in the end in Renaissance christian and classical antiquity art fitted greatly making artistical miracles!!!  Modern man thinking mechanistically, in a very selfish way and being related with nature only through T.V, can hardly see the beauty as our ancestors did.  Only few modern artists understand but unfortunately they are not promoted. The industrial revolution killed art and beauty in humanity!!!

10. I believe in an urban setting that has a mix of classical and vernacular. This is not the renaissance of 'just classical', this is the renaissance of tradition. Let towns grow through tradition; a classical public library, a vernacular public house, a public park...
11. I agree in many ways...but there is some good ' modern ' architecture not based on classical stuff..The worst is the demolishing of our heritage..we are awful for that in Ireland.
