  7. Actually, guys, this isn't the same tech as a MagLev.

    Allow me to explain.
    A MagLev uses electromagnets (powered by electricity) as its rail, and its propulsion is caused by alternating current.
    This hoverboard's rails are, as you can see, permanent magnets. They don't suddenly change their current, it stays the same. The hoverboard just has to float above the rails, and it's propelled by humans.

  14. I thought it was cool until I just realized it's a magnet over top of another magnet. Obviously. Nothing new here. You can't use this hoverboard to go anywhere, it's like saying here is a train! You can buy it and then you can ride it although you can only use it on train tracks. Yeah. Real practical. Although it's cool you took the idea that magnets repel and then put a magnet into a board and put the board over top of another magnet embedded into the ground, this isn't practical, this does nothing for transportation, and this is not any advance. Not only do you need to constantly refuel it with liquid nitrogen which is not only far more expensive than gasoline or electricity, but also far more difficult to get your hands on and far more dangerous, you even have to lay down magnetic "train tracks" and the board can't leave the tracks or you can't go anywhere, in short, you can't use this, you can't have one, and you can't use this for transportation.
