The Mediterranean custodian - Futuristic Architecture

Concept, photos, videos, examples, construction

The Mediterranean custodian Having so many distinct civilizations around it, the Mediterranean Sea is the core of culture and trade exchanging. It combines Mesopotamia, Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Moroccan, and other eastern Mediterranean civilizations and has been affected by the interaction of all these civilizations. Unfortunately, it is said to be the most polluted sea in the word. The Fundamental target of this project revolves around the significance of avoiding a foreseeable disaster. “The Mediterranean custodian”, a floating station wastes collector, supported with highly integrated self-energy generating system, based on the decomposition and recycling of wastes, shall meet the purpose. Moreover, it attempts to remove all kinds of contaminants disposed by humans and dumped into the Natural marine environment. More than half of the Industrial pollutants dumped in world seas are caused by industrial cities! By Oceanography, the “residence time” of its water is about 80-100 years, because it is connected to the rest of the neighboring seas by the narrow strait of Gibraltar. As a result, pollutants settle longer. The aggravation of "water crisis" led to an increasingly demand on sea water desalination, leaving the Mediterranean countries in a very critical situation. In this case, a radical solution is definitely required. Besides that, manmade Architecture mustn't enroch God made Architecture (nature)!!!!. The pollution of the marine environment is a result of human pollutants including plastic wastes , sewerage waists , petrochemicals , mineral oil , mercury , lead , phosphates ,wastes emitting from coasts , marine debris and other waists .These increasing quantities of pollutants are dumped into the Mediterranean sea each year. Each type has its unique “Breeze cleanser unit”. For instance, a plastic unit was designed. It consists of a huge sail with an arm to catch wastes. When the cleansing process starts, the arm expands and the sail shrinks, leading to speed reduction. The opposite happens when the sail retracts. The arm accumulates these wastes in the tank and the lower sail gets rid of the pollutants found at greater depth. Also, an “ultrasound system” was developed to protect and steer fish away from the cleansing Area. Every single unit forms a society itself providing manpower spherical residential accommodations surrounded by climber plants which combines land to sea beauty. Not to mention, ball-shape houses ensure the stability of the floor despite the sea movement challenges. These units are connected together by a central station known by the “Nymphaea station”. It plays the role of a human being’s intestines. A tube pulls down the seawater under the thin crust of seabed where the heat is. The steam rises through pipelines to generate electricity, to produce fresh water and to expose the wastes to high temperatures as an attempt to recycle them. Certainly, some wastes will remain and must be brought out. This is the duty of another tube which takes the leftovers down under seafloor. As for the rising gases, there is a huge sustainable chimney where the gases pass through, in order to reduce its pollution. It is also surrounded by many plants that rely on some of the gases to complete the photosynthesis process. As a result, a huge beacon is formed which leads the cleansers units back to the Nymphaea station to get rid of the wastes and to spend the winter avoiding the sea anger. They comprise a perfect marine environment which does not weaken the structure but supports the whole structure by time. The marine organisms are always living the “fantasy world” dream away from any human impact. “The Mediterranean custodian" works to cement the relationship between them.
