  1. We can eliminate most of our debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve. Eliminate the Federal Reserve.
  2. or ask the corporates to PAY THEIR FREAKING TAX!!!
  3. I have a robot with 100 AI
  4. But wait, I thought god created us just six thousand years ago with adam and eve and the garden of eden ?
    No?
  5. The reason why humans having robots, AI, etc. never happened is most likely because humans were scared or worried that they would cause negative impact (in a similar event to Terminator films's Apocalypse). I still believe that all of this will never happened because have I've seen a single robot, AI, etc. in Marysville California (where my family and I live in)? No, I never did so this proves that this will never happen in our lifetime.
  6. This is just a Republican screed on he economy.
  7. Difference between human and transhumanism? BEER.
  8. Don't have a TED talk about biology and use it to spend 10 minutes going off topic to jump on your political soapbox. If you want a political TED talk, title it correctly. Anyway, now 7 years later, he has been proven to be wrong. Iceland looked bad then but turned out to have taken the best approach to dealing with the recession: http://www.washingtonsblog.com/2012/08/top-economists-iceland-did-it-right-everyone-else-is-doing-it-wrong.html .
  9. What's Billy Bob Thorton doing at a TED Talk?
  10. Fascinating talk, but I disagree on the budget cuts. The problem isn't government spending as much as it's the tax evasion we've legalized in so many forms. When you look at the effective tax rates the richest Americans pay, combined with the amount of giant American corporations that manage to almost completely avoid paying taxes, the story starts to look very different. I think the only thing we should really be cutting is military and health care. Our military spending is simply ridiculous (no other way to put it) and our health care system is one of the most inefficient in the world. Other countries have demonstrated that fully functional single-payer systems can be much cheaper than what we currently spend per capita.

Raising the retirement age and cutting social security is a corporatist idea brought forward by corrupt neoliberals and bought-off republicans. The idea is that the elites and corporations continue hardly paying taxes while you, the average blue-collar American, are left to pay the bill.
  11. Shameless pandering.
  12. This guy doesnt understand that the financial economy is a symptom of society. Not the other way around. Go to any developed country, youll see its terror on the streets.
  13. I love this!!!
  14. lmao this guy funny
  15. regarding money, the economy, currency, etc..

I think a lot of people forget (or never realized) that money doesn't even exist in the real world. Money only exists in our heads. We made it up. It's nothing more than a system of accounting that we devised to make barter easier. The fact that we are allowing this made up thing that exists only in our heads to control us so much is very disturbing to me.

The debt/deficit doesn't exist anywhere. You can't go look at it, you can't touch it, it doesn't smell like anything, and yet.. everyone is so worried that "we don't have the money"... We Don't Have the Money???? WTF??? Money only exists in our heads. It's not even a real thing.

If you hold a dollar bill, read what it says.. "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private". A dollar is not a net positive. Most people think that having dollars means that they are somehow in the positive. They're not, and money is not wealth. A dollar represents someone else's debt. If all debts were paid off, there would be no money.. because that's what money is.. debt.
  16. The guy likes playing God. Fine... He forgets or more likely omits all about ethics and implications. Bad presentation
  17. Immortalité. :-)
  18. Look we just say to the banks the money you thought you lent out was fictitious(leverage), because you didn't have it there to lend; so we don't owe it at all.
  19. Reboot in the butt... by a bionic or robot foot. Perhaps for the better. Its a shame we will trust robots more than governments or officials.
